Locating Ring Supplier
Locating ring’s primary job function is to find or align the opening of the hot or cold sprue through the hole in the machine’s surface platen. The sprue opening is usually in the center of a sprue bushing, and the locating ring aligns the bushing to the center of the platen. It is used to find the mould on the surface plate (injection side) to reassure that the nozzle on the moulding machine will alliance with the sprue bushing allowing plastic to run into the mould.
